Tell them that you oppose the installation of smart meters on your home or business because of health concerns, privacy, and the overburdening of access rights. Insist that they require PG&E to provide an “opt-out” option for individuals and comply with city and county-wide moratoriums. If you have a smart meter and have been suffering health impacts, tell them your story. Or simply tell them that you do not want to deal with the EMF overload all of the devices are creating.

Here is a quote from Josh Hart with Stop Smart Meters in Santa Cruz County

“The smart meter program is teetering on the cliff- we just all need to give it a good, coordinated shove.”

Here is a copy of the letter that I, myself, have written to the CPUC. Feel free to cut and paste it into a letter of your own with your own particular variations on the theme.

Dear CPUC,

I oppose the installation of smart meters on my home and my business because of health concerns, privacy, and the overburdening of access rights. I insist that PG&E provide me with an “opt-out” option and that they comply with city and county-wide moratoriums. I also insist that smart meters be removed from homes and businesses as others who become more aware of the health risks demand their removal. As I am electrically sensitive I will never allow one of these devices to be placed on my home. I do not own a cell phone, or wifi, so why would I want a smart meter?

No one has the right to subject another to dangerous electromagnetic frequencies. There have been dozens of books written on the danger of EMF pollution. I direct you to the website LessEMF(http://www.lessemf.com/emf-book.html) for a number of book titles that you can read on the subject which clearly delineate the dangers to us all.

In addition, it has been clearly proven that when bacteria within a petri dish are bathed in EMF from a cell phone that they multiply ten times faster than normal. This means that diseases that have a bacteriological base, such as Lyme’s disease, will become practically impossible to heal. This is one of the reasons why Lyme’s disease is on the rise.

In addition, because children have thin skulls, they are particularly susceptible to EMF pollution. In fact EMF pollution is one of the causative factors in Regressive Autism, which is rising astronomically. This is why the LA School District has refused to have Wifi in their schools.

These rays are unnatural to the body and no studies have been done related to their long term and continuous effects. As a citizen, I demand that I be protected from the dangers of EMF pollution that is proliferating all around me.

I, myself, desire to live a natural life in a natural environment with healthy food to eat, air to breathe, water to drink, and electromagnetic frequencies that are natural to the human body. Since I take pride in living in a clean house and in bathing my body every day, why would I want to live in a toxic dump filled with pollution of every description? Why would anyone? But this is what we have made of America and the rest of the world has followed suit.

It is a well known fact that 3% of the population is electrically sensitive. Should we just ignore this and arbitrarily decide to take them out of the gene pool so that we do not have to listen to their complaints? Or should we make this world safe for everyone?

Please, do not allow this hazardous device to be installed. I invite you to think outside the box and to carefully consider what you are doing from all angles. Do so for yourselves, your children and grand children and all future generations. We are the creators of our one shared reality. It is up to each and every one of us to do our part in cleaning up the mess we have made.
